SS12 Fashion Week

It was strange not to be in New York for SS12 Fashion Week, I’ve been watching on style.com, getting my fashion fix, and let me just say I didn’t love lots of the shows. I’ve been waiting all week for Celine, but felt it was not as strong as previous collections, tear. I did love the Sonia Rykiel show, that canary catwalk and the bright colors! It channeled a Miu Miu vibe. xo Guava

Alexander McQueen

I thought the McQueen show was just breathtaking.  It seemed to really channel a black swan feeling with all the fur trim.  The workmanship and handcrafted aspect of the collection is really incredible. xo Guava

Kate Moss closes Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton brought back some big names for their show today. Amber Valetta, Naomi Campbell, and Carolyn Murphy walked, with Kate Moss closing the show with cigarette in hand.

Chloe Fall 2011

Loved the Chloe show! It’s unfortunate that there are rumor’s circling that this may be the last season for Hannah MacGibbon as designer for Chloe. She is the former first assistant of Pheobe Philo.  I hope they keep her, because I think the collection looks great. xo Guava
